Offering warm ambiance and a classic ski lodge atmosphere, the Stonebridge Inn offers affordable upscale hotel accommodations in the heart of Snowmass Village. The Snowmass slopes are just 100 yards away and the other three ski resorts, as well as downtown Aspen, are easy to get to via the free shuttle that stops right outside the inn.

All guest rooms all feature either two queen beds or one king bed and have been recently updated with 42-inch flat-screen TVs, DVD players, iPod compatible clock/radios and new bedding. Other standard amenities in the rooms include mini refrigerators, fans, humidifiers, coffee makers, wireless internet and granite vanities.

Guests are invited to relax in one of the two outdoor heated hot tubs, pool, sauna and steam rooms or enjoy the recently renovated fitness room.

The Stonebridge Inn is also home to the Artisan Restaurant, which features a handcrafted, locally sourced menu consisting of the finest ingredients of the season. Before hitting the slopes many guests take advantage of the full hot breakfast buffet as well as a continental breakfast, which is available daily with rotating hot items.

Other amenities include individual ski lockers located in the lobby area, overnight ski tuning and rentals at the onsite ski shop, business center, hi-speed wireless internet throughout the property and a complimentary Aspen Airport and in-town guest shuttle. Parking is available however there is a charge.

Very easy access to slopes

Not a high end hotel but reasonably priced for ski in / ski out. My son and I stayed for four nights. Perfect for a father / son ski trip. Rooms are the quality of a Red Roof Inn or maybe a little nicer than a Budget Inn. Comfortable beds, clean, nice pool and large hot tub. 3 minute walk to the slopes then ski down to the lifts. I would definitely stay here again.

Avoid this hotel

First, this is not a ski in ski out property. The staff here is rude and provides awful service. They don't answer the phone at the front desk timely at all. We had to request towels 5 times (3 over the phone and 2 physical visits to the front desk) before we finally got them 2 hours later. Also they offer a free shuttle, but it is rarely available at the time you need it. The shuttle that is run by the city does run every 15 minutes and stops right by the hotel. The restaurant is not very good in the hotel either. We called for reservations and were told it was really tight, but they could squeeze us in if we could be there at 6:30. We showed up right on time and there must have been 8 tables empty....food was not that great, but they do have a great brownie sundae dessert the kids loved.

Very nice, nothing special, but nice, clean, good breakfast.

Great location, ski-in ski-out. Friendly staff. Only complaint was that the heat was hard to adjust so it got too hot, and had to open windows but that let in the street noise. For next upgrade, maybe do something to modernize the heating/cooling system.

Great moderate hotel close to slopes

I stayed at the Stonebridge for a few nights this summer. The rooms have a nice mountain feel. The recently renovated pool and fitness room are a great place to hang out or workout summer or winter. Easy access to the slopes makes this a great value.  Not to missed is the happy hour with local magician Doc Easton.

Snowmass convenience

My wife and I stayed at the Stonebridge in Snowmass recently and had a great time.  We skied during the day, came into the hotel and checked in and dropped our skis at the convenient ski check in the lobby.  The room itself was fine with two queen beds and a mountain view.  Robes were there as well and we used them quickly as we checked out the hot tub and the pool.  The facilities were found to be immaculate and created a great setting to have that après ski beer in the hot tub.  At night, it was real easy to walk to the village mall and grab dinner.  Then, the walk back downhill to the hotel was even easier.  In the morning, the Stonebridge offers sit down breakfast service with a full buffet.  Perfect to get you going for the day.  All in all, for the price, this is a perfect ski hotel.
